Hello-

My site, https://rayrolando.com/

has the calendar displayed here: https://rayrolando.com/events-calendar/

Once you login (admin, or regular user) the calendar disappears.

Try using our test login to see for yourself:

Also on our homepage, https://rayrolando.com/, if you scroll to the bottom our event shortcode is showing the registration/view details button twice.

This was all after update to 4.8.22.
Calendar update to 3.2.6

Hi Ray,

Are you running any caching plugins?

Or security plugins being used to block ajax requests? It would be strange that this would do that for logged in users rather than logged out just checking.

The Calendar page is not loading any of the Calendar scripts when logged in, which is why the Calendar isn’t loading. How are you loading the Calendar within X? Is it placed within a ‘members’ shortcode at all?

Also on our homepage, https://rayrolando.com/, if you scroll to the bottom our event shortcode is showing the registration/view details button twice.

Have you modifed the EE templates or used a custom function to alter the order of your event details at all?

1. We are not running any caching at the moment.

We are loading the calendar with this shortcode and No we do not have any ‘members’ shortcodes on this page. ALl that is on this page is:

[ESPRESSO_CALENDAR show_expired=”true”]

This happened after the upgrade to 4.8.22.
Calendar update to 3.2.6. Prior to that all was in working order.

2. I am using this shortcode on the homepage, is something wrong with the formatting that might be calling the button twice?
[ESPRESSO_EVENTS show_expired=”true” limit=”1″ sort=”DESC”]

Please further advise.

Hi Kim, our support forums are public so please go ahead and deactivate the login information that was posted earlier.

The events calendar does appear to be loading for me and I’m not logged-in. I tested in Safari and Firefox.

We are working on the double content issue now and will update you once a fix is available today.

Thanks

Lorenzo

Lorenzo,

I understand your forums are public, and was planning to change passwords after we finished our work here.

You must have misread- this issue is for logged IN users. When logged in the calendar does not show which is why it was necessary for me to provide login credentials for you to see the issue.

Here is a screenshot of me logged in:

Please advise,

Hi Kim,

Could you update to 4.8.23?

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/ee4-changelog/

That has a fix for the double event information when [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] is in use.

Could you go to the page that has the events calendar shortcode and re-save?

You shared that it doesn’t have any member restrictions so it should definitely be appearing.
