Wordpress: 4.1 New installation – https://sceneartbar.com/test-calendar-page/ Have events built, but not showing in the calendar and the dates are all undefined, regardless of layout. Help!?!?! |
Hi Rebecca, The first thing to check is that the Calendar loads with one of the default themes. You can install a plugin such as Theme Test Drive to allow you select a different theme for the admin whilst leaving visitor viewing your current theme. So using Theme Test Drive, if you activate TwentyFourteen and visit the Calendar page, does it then load? |

It worked a few days ago – and then stopped working. I am using Headway and prior to purchasing, I was assured that EE3 worked with Headway themes. Did as you instructed using Theme Test Drive with 2014 – and it still is coming back as undefined. https://sceneartbar.com/test-calendar-page/ I uninstalled the add-on and reinstalled it and still same result. |
I am having the exact same problem!! I updated the Calendar plugin this morning, and my entire calendar is gone. I tried deactivating all my plugins and only having EE open, no good. I tried re-installing the calendar.zip (that I just downloaded from this site) and no good, it is all “undefined” and empty. |
|
Have you installed/updated any plugins between when it did work and now? |
|

Yes, (I didn’t – the website owner did – ugh) but we’ve disabled and deleted it. Still having trouble… https://wordpress.org/plugins/facebook-pixel-conversions-for-wp/ Could this also be causing the issue w/images not showing? Thanks, |
I had a 2014 espresso-calendar.zip file on my computer. I installed that instead of the current one (which I upgraded and the calendar then failed) and it is working fine again. I can email this .zip file to anyone who wants it if you email Tara@theuncorkedartist.com. Maybe Event Espresso can upload this old zip so that everyone who is having problems can use it until they find a fix? |

If you are open to modifying the code the problem exists in wp-content/plugins/espresso-calendar/scripts/espresso_calendar.js Looking for |

When you say “comment out this line” how is that done (not a coder…) Thanks. |
Just open the file in question in Plugins > Editor and the line should look like |

It seems every time I ever try to edit any php I bring my website down, lol. I’m pretty good with a lot of things, but have learned to know my limits . . . which does not apparently include php. Can you let us know when the plugin has been fixed? |
|
Oh, or Java. Not good at that. |

Tara – Still doesn’t solve my issue with the current release of the calendar -and I hope EE can help me out on that one. Thanks, |
Before modifying core, can you go to Event Espresso -> Calendar Settings. Look for ‘First Day of the Week’ and check if that field is set to ‘Sunday’. If so, change that value to Saturday and save the settings, does the Calendar now load?

Tony, |
Hi Rebecca, We’ll have a fix available shortly. |
|
|
Hi Josh, Thank you… |
Minutes, it’s released now. |
|
|
WOWZA – you’re fast! Thanks.. how do I upload the new version? Is it in my account area? Thank you. |
If you go to your Plugins page on your website, there should be a 1-click update notification. If not you go to Event Espresso > General Settings and save, and that will trigger the update notification. |

Perfect – thank you. |
