Hi

We use WP Engine and have been through the caching sections with them

We have had an unusual experience at our information point

A customer arrives and wants to book one of our events. We go through, take payment and its all booked

Then she wants to book a different event

We go into the booking, add to the cart, go to register and it immediately goes to the completed page, however on looking in the back end we can see that it has not registered or taken any payment

I corrected this by clearing the cache and doing the booking again and it was fine this time

Any idea why? Is it still to do with WP Engine – is it caching a certain page would you think?
Thanks

Josh

Hi Jon,

One way to find out if the issue is caused by the WPEngine caching is you try the same steps to reproduce the issue while logged into the site. If you can only reproduce the issue while logged out of the site that’s a strong indication the caching needs to be bypassed for the registration checkout pages.
