i think this should be a (core) must have feature/ functionalty. Especially in a event booking plugin!

Its very unlikely the above feature will not be included within the Event Espresso core plugin, it’s not a feature the majority of users require so shouldn’t be included in core but part of an add-on.

As I can see, we are not the only ones who are asking for it? I cant’t understand that nothing happend in the last 2 years?

If you look at the roadmap Josh linked to you’ll find multiple requested features with more votes, we have been (and still are) working through the most requested features but planning, developing and testing each of those features takes time.

It shouldn’t be so hard to implement this. You have already the promo codes feature, so we just have to give the customer the opportunity to buy “a promo code” in the fontend and in the backend it generates an one time fixed discount amount code and send it per mail…

The promotions add-on doesn’t support one time fixed discount codes available for use across all events, so it’s not as simple as just creating a promotion code. However, if you believe this is a simple feature to add, your more than welcome to add this to the promotions add-on and open up a pull request for it to be reviewed by our developers and included in the add-on.

I have the impression that some basic features and core features are not working properly…

Can I ask which features that would be?
