Hi.
Up until a recent update we had custom button images, and they worked fine. After the update they stopped showing up, and on looking into it I noticed that the system was forcing https:// on the Button URL field. We are not doing SSL on our site, so this effectively prevents an image from loading at all.
I go in to Event Espresso > Payment Methods > Check. I then click on the icon to the right of the Button URL field and choose an image. The image URL is correctly listed as “http://” at that point. When I click Update Check Payment Settings, though, the system adds in an “s”, and it becomes “https://”.
Any ideas or assistance would be greatly appreciated, as I really need to get this fixed. These images used to work, we went live, and now after the update our payment page is broken in the middle of our big ticket sales time. Help!
