Is there a way we can re-assign a ton of events into other categories. We’re getting rid of a great deal of our Categories but unlike Blog Posts, there’s no way to click the edit boxes of a bulk number of events so we can assign them to a different category.
And as a side note – Bulk exporting of events in a set time frame is still unattainable in EE4, correct?

Bulk assigning of categories is not something we have available within Event Espresso currently.

We don’t have any event export features within EE at this time, just to clarify, are you looking to export the event itself or the registrations?

To export EE events? No.
Event Espresso uses a hybrid data setup, it uses custom post types for its event posts (meaning some data is stored in the wp_posts table) and stores various data in its own custom tables that are related using foreign keys (so a lot of other data is stored outside of the standard wp tables). Which in short means that unless a plugin is specifically joining EE’s data together (meaning the export plugin lists EE as a supported plugin) it won’t pull in all of EE’s data.
EE’s data is complex, there are a lot of relationships between various pieces of data so exports aren’t as simple as they seem.
