Hello,
i have to trash more than 100 registrations with payments because i will use one Event from 2015 for the same event in 2016. (Recurring event plug-in isn’t on the way right?) so there are all locked and i have to go in every single transaction and have to delete the payment to delete the registration.
is there a faster way to do this??

Hi Merlin,
There is no way to remove the registrations/transactions in bulk without manually removing the payments first, this to prevent abandoned data within the database.
Can you not duplicate the event and use the duplicate for 2016?

how can i duplicate an event? or do you mean to duplicate an event date or ticket?

At the top of the event editor, just under the title should be a ‘Duplicate event’ button – http://take.ms/9V1Lh
That will create a new event with the same details as the original, it will add **DUPLICATE** to the title which you can then remove.

thanks for the information.
i will use this method till there is a solution for recurring events. <- are you working on this?? unfortunately the duplicate method will not copy my “custom field plug in” fields.

Hi Merlin,
The duplicate feature will only copy information created by Event Espresso. It won’t be “aware” of custom fields that may be in use.
