Hi
Just wondering if there a function to delete all transactions and registrations when deleting an event? This really is a must for GDPR reasons.

Hi Alan,
Thanks for bringing this up. We don’t have this feature at the moment but our development team will be working on functionality to make this step easier. I’m not certain that we will be able to delete some data, such as transactions, but we are looking at the possibility of anonymizing personally identifiable records.
We just don’t think it’s a good idea to completely delete transaction data because these records are important for accounting and tax purposes. Therefore, we feel that anonymizing this type of data should help to keep personal data secure, while continuing to provide the site admin or organization with the data it needs.

Thats fair enough Seth. Good plan. Anonymizing all personal data will work perfectly.
Any idea when this will be in place?

These are works in progress and we do not have a timeframe for when each tool will be included in a release. When these become available they’ll be announced in the blog.
