I have created a custom newsletter email that I want to send to all previous and current event registrants. My custom email does not show up in the bulk action and I have verified the template is active in settings. How can I send this email to all 700+ past/current registrants?????

I need to do this asap so the sooner I get this figured out the better.

Hi there,

My custom email does not show up in the bulk action and I have verified the template is active in settings.

The newsletter message type does not show within bulk actions, it is the ‘Send Batch Message’ button at the bottom of the registration list – http://take.ms/ahkOo

You select your registrations, then click that button and select the custom newsletter message template. Then you can either add details there or send.

Not you will need to break down your registrations into smaller batches to trigger the emails, currently you will need to select roughly 30 registrations, trigger the messages, then select the next batch of 30 and so on. You can not select all 7000 registrations and trigger the message.

When I click on the batch message, my newsletter does not show up in the list. It only shows “global” and another custom email I set up. How do I get the newsletter to show up in the list?

That’s strange, how did you create the custom template?

If you go to Event Espresso -> Messages -> Custom Message Templates.

Can you see the custom template there?
