I am using EE4 and have added multiple episodes of the same event. When I first created them, visitors could click on each episode to register for that date. Last week I tried switching to the Iced Mocha theme but when I switched back ALL my links were broken. By deactivating and reactivating EE4, I was able to fix the links for the events but the individual date links are not accessible. Here’s a link to the page with the list. Anyone else have this problem? Laran |
Hi Laran, Could you go to WordPress admin –> Settings –> Permalinks and save changes? Also, I didn’t see your link in your original post. Could you share that again? Thanks. — |

Hopefully this one works. |

<pre class=”brush: html; gutter: true; first-line: 1; highlight: []; html-script: false”> Sorry for all the posts. Just figured out what I wasn’t doing. |
Just posting the URL will work. On the page that you shared, I see three ticket options: http://cl.ly/image/1A3q0e012n3G How many should be available? — |

Before I changed the template I’m pretty sure there was a clickable link for each occurrence of the class. Now you can’t choose which class to register for. Laran |
Alright, that would be the Event list page here: Does your theme have any display settings for archive pages? It appears to be showing an excerpt so you might try turning that off. — |

Lorenzo, I turned that off, no change. I think it’s the way I set the pricing structure up. I’ve been wading through EE4 with some confusion about how it functions. It seems I need to allow different tickets for different dates if I want them to show up as separate links? Otherwise the program seems to show the tickets valid for all venues in the series. Laran |
Hi, thanks for checking in that. This is a display/layout issue: Did you notice the pagination underneath the content on that page? It is similar to what you might see on a blog. I do have a workaround in mind. Could you login to your site with an SFTP or FTP client and go to this location: wp-content/themes/yourthemefolder/ Do you see a page.php file available? If so, could you duplicate it and rename to archive-espresso_events.php — |

Done, and it fixed that one issue. Here’s the link to an event with multiple instances. You notice that you can’t click on any of the individual dates to select which class. http://dftofco.com/events/firearms-training-concealed-carry-class/ |
Thats great news! I think there is a misunderstanding on how EE4 registration works. Those dates at the top of the page are available dates for an event. The ticket selector allows you to pick a ticket. However, a ticket can be assigned to one date or multiple dates. You would need to create additional tickets for each date: http://cl.ly/image/303Q2X3b2k3E Then you can assign a ticket to a particular datetime like this: http://ee-screenshots.s3.amazonaws.com/multiple_tickets_per_datetime.gif — |
