Is it not possible to have Braintree payment addons in different plugins? My specific case is that we use Braintree to process payments for our event registrations and we recently added a WordPress plugin called Give (givewp.com). Give has a number of add-on plugins like Event Espresso.

When we activated the Give Braintree Payment Gateway plug-in, it interacts with Event Espresso breaks Event Espresso functionality, some examples of the issues are that when on an event page and clicking register the registration-checkout page never loads it just produces a white screen. From the WordPress admin panel clicking on the registrations menu shows only one registration and the page never finishes loading. Overall the entire Event Espresso app basically stops functioning.

Is this a one off compatibility issue or is it not possible to use Braintree payment add-on plugins in different main application plugins?

Hi there,

In short it sounds like the Give Braintree Payment Gateway plug-in is loading everywhere and whatever it is doing is causing havoc. I obviously don’t know if that truly is the case without seeing the code but thats what the above sounds like.

If you check your servers error logs can you see any errors there? (I’m guessing you’ll see a lot).
