Hi, |
Hi Erica, You can set the Minimum Quantity to 2, and set the Maximum Quantity to be 2, more information here: |
Thanks, that is helpful. What if they want to book more than one double occupancy room (we have group bookings)? |
You can add additional ticket options, then next one having a minimum of 4, maximum of 4, and so on. |
Hmm, that’s not really what we’re looking for. I can see how that would work for some people, but we don’t know how many double rooms a group might need- and it seems awkward and confusing to fill up our ticket selector with options like “2 double rooms” “3 double rooms” “4 double rooms”- plus the single rooms- plus the day options- plus early bird pricings- we have way too many options for our admins to keep organized and for attendees to shift through. Is there a way to force a only one ticket type to fill in an additional field? |
You can add additional fields by adding questions and question groups. There’s more information and examples in the documentation: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/questions/#40_ |

My understanding of questions/question groups (correct me if I’m wrong) is that they show up for all ticket types- so if I make a field saying “name and email of additional room occupant” and someone books 2 single rooms, that question pops up, which wouldn’t make any sense. I would want it to pop up only if they booked a double room. Is it just not possible? That’s ok, I just need to know so I can talk to my team about how we’d want to handle it. |

That’s correct. |
