1) We cannot add a registration from the backend
if you go to event espresso -> events -> hover over event click on registration -> add new registration Then add a new registration there is a blank page

2) When we apply the update we cannot see the events in the back end at all.

Hi Melissa,

Can you go to Event Espresso > Maintenance > Reset, then click on the Reset Capabilities button?

If the above does not help, you could try following this guide:

You can also try re-installing the plugin. Also, have you checked your site’s PHP error log? There’s a how to that shows how to set up a log file if you cannot find an error log file:

We only deactivate-activate the plugin. I’m not sure if the data from database will delete if we re-install the plguin.

debug.log

__construct()

instead. in /home2/wpdudeco/public_html/devwpdude/wasup/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3893

It will not delete anything from the database.

A PHP notice from your theme will not cause the blank page in the admin you’re seeing.

Hi Melissa,

In cases where we do not know why there’s a blank page/error, there needs to be some troubleshooting done first to know where to fix. Usually when a blank page is involved, there’s a PHP that goes along with it, specifically a PHP Fatal Error. It seems that you haven’t found it, so if you can complete the secure form on this page, someone from EE staff can investigate further.

Hi Melissa,

You said you tried the Twenty Seventeen theme, but I don’t see that as an option on your site. If I try the Twenty Fifteen theme the blank page issue is fixed. Has anything been customized within the Kornio theme?
