I have been testing the use of this plugin on a clients site and it has been working pretty well for what we need it to do. I have one query as I am not sure if it is something I am doing wrong or is it a bug.

When I import the attendee data I include the price paid for the ticket, ie: €450 and set the status to complete. All the relevant information then shows on the ticket (Name, Ticket, ID, Dates etc) but for the price paid it continues to show a €0.00. Is there something I am doing wrong perhaps or is this a bug?

I can share an example of the csv file if needs be.

Thanks in advance.

Robert

Hi Robert,

One thing you can make sure is the Amount Paid column should have values entered as a number only with no currency symbol.

Hi Josh,

Yes I am only entering digits for this. No symbols. Any other thoughts?

Hi Robert,

That was the one thought I had because when I use the same plugin to import attendees, I didn’t see any issues unless I added a currency symbol.

When you say you’re looking at the price paid, and it’s showing 0.00, is that on the edit payment screen, or is it on the edit registration screen?

Hi Josh,

Thanks for replying. I get this when I choose the option to “View/Download Ticket”. Attached is a small screen shot of what I mean form the default ticket

Thanks for the update, this information helps a lot. So it turns out the Attendee import has a field for “amount paid”, but it does not have a field for “ticket cost”. The ticket add-on has a shortcode for “ticket cost”, but it does not have a shortcode for “amount paid”.

One thing you can do is change the ticket template so it displays the amount paid instead of ticket cost. The default ticket template is the index.php file found in the ticketing add-ons /templates file. You can copy this file over to /wp-content/uploads/espresso/tickets and make your customization there.

I posted a gist that outlines the suggested code change:
