Best way to hide tickets for an exclusive event

Hi there! I saw a post from 2015 on this, but am wondering if there’s a better way (even using the Promo/Discount code add-on?) to make tickets for an event only accessible to specific people (i.e., by giving them an exclusive link or code). Thank you!

Hi,

In this case the promo code/discount add-on wouldn’t work because people could still pay for the tickets (without a discount) and they’d be able to register for the event regardless.

What you could do is set the Event’s “Visibility” setting to “Password Protected”. The settings are located in the box on the upper right side of the event editor page.
