WordPress 3.9.2 // EE Version 3.1.36.5.P Business License // New install

I’m experienced with using Custom Post Types and found your documentation on the subject: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/custom-post-types-basic-setup/

I don’t understand the benefit outside of including the events in my WordPress content feed.

Are their examples or benefits to using the Custom Post Type, Event Posts, in place of the default event listing?

Thanks!

Hi Aryon,

The primary benefit is the ability to customize how the information is presented.
