Hey again,
Here is the log error for the page that my web guy sent to me:
I looked at the log files and I am seeing an error message with the following details:

[Fri Aug 25 15:38:09.988919 2017] [fcgid:warn] [pid 2287] [client 70.69.215.3:33623] mod_fcgid: stderr: PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function datetimes() on a non-object in /home/omnilargess/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/libraries/messages/data_class/EE_Messages_incoming_data.core.php on line 363

From the message it looks like this is an issue in the plugin. Is there any chance you can open a support ticket with them and pass along that error message? They should be able to help you out with this.

Is anybody looking into this problem?

Hi Ted,

The error message your host found seems to indicate the event’s data is missing some ticket data. Were any tickets force deleted from events on your site?

Since it’s the weekend the developers are not online. If you can complete the form on this page someone from Event Espresso staff can check your site’s database when they’re back online.

Hi Ted,

When you fill out the form please include any relevant information like which registrations from events you were trying to send a batch message to.

Hi Ted,

I’m afraid the user role you sent doesn’t have access to the Event Espresso admin parts of the site. It seems you sent access for an account that only has the subscriber role. Can you send access for an account that will allow us to investigate?

Sorry about that Josh. I just changed it to admin. So everything should be good to go. Please let me know. Thanks again
Ted

Do you know which registrations from an event you were trying to send a batch message to? If you can post the ID or name of the event that will really help so we don’t have to guess.

Hi Ted,

It looks like you’ll need to go back in, change the user account to admin, then click the Update User button. The account you sent still has a subscriber role.

Hi Ted,

It appears that you were trying to send batch emails to those that registered for events in the past, and some of those events have been moved to the trash. The batch emails that will not send are the ones that are associated with events that were moved to the trash. If you move the events out of the trash, then restore their dates, the other batch messages that failed can be re-generated.

Thank you Josh, Do I have to restore each event individually. How can I restore all the deleted events. There is a lock beside each event that does not allow me to select them all and apply the restore to all of them. here is a screenshot of what I got

Hi Ted,

The trashed events each have their own “Restore from Trash” link when you hover over their row. When there’s a lock that means that they can’t be included in the bulk actions.

Is there anyway to do it faster. Restoring one event at a time takes lots of time.
thanks

Some of your events probably should not be restored Ted. You should only restore the events that have registrations that you’re trying to send emails to.

Thank Josh. While I have you here, is there a way to set up EE to show the active events by the event date not the creation date in admin page, if it makes sense!

Thank you Josh the batch email works now. Do you have any suggestions for my second question? or should I open a new ticket

You click on the Event Start column heading and it will sort the list by the event’s date.

You are awesome! I am going to close the ticket and thanks again for your help.
