Hello,

Can you revise the name of the event to be more unique such as the start date?

A recent update to the Attendee mover which is available in the pre-release channel includes the start month like this: https://cl.ly/1I313r0l1u1S

I think that would also be helpful in the barcode scanner so I’ll create an enhancement ticket there as well.

No, because I have 3 same events on the same day with different venue’s

sometime I want to change the venue, so I also can not set the venue in the name of the event.

if I put the date/venue in the name in de event, then in the displaying of the event you see 2 times the date/venue.

So i need to see the date en venue when selecting it in de Barcode scanning/ attendee mover en app

I the current implementation scanning, mover and the app is not usable for me!!

Hello,

You would need to make the event name more unique using a combination of the event date and/or the venue name. For example, you could at the start time to the event name like this:

Event ABC @ 11

Sorry I see this as a workaround but not a solution.
I would like to display my event the name it is called, and not want to add a venue and date or anything else in the name.
This would confuse the people. Do i need to sing in for a, b or c?
I need to explain this first to every one.
The people just want to assign to a event they must attend and not think about a, b, or c.

My venue can change. I hope you would add later schedule messages/emails.
So before a message is sent I want to be able to change the venue.
So when the venue is in the name this is could be confusing.

dan why can i chose a venue in an event if I also have to put this in my event name.

for now I see 3 good acceptable solutions

1. add the event id when selecting an event in the mover or scanner

but better:
2. able to change the display name.

3. just add more info in the mover and scanner

I just saw an update of the event espresso app, now I can see the complete date, time and venue.
This is what i would like to see in the mover and scanner.
it is possible in the App so….?

at this moment a not able to use the scanner and mover.

I just checked the event espresso app.

only the address of the venue is displayed and not the venue name.

cause all my venues are at the same address but only a room is different. I am not able the those the right venue.
why nog displaying only the venue name?
cause in this case i have different venue names and now you are not displaying the name?

so you want me to change my event names?
and in the app you are not using names for the venue.

this is very confusing!

Hello,

I think the event ID would be helpful there in the dropdown since that will always be unique.

I’ve updated the enhancement request to also include that information.
