When attempting to use the Barcode Scanner addon, I’m not able to check people in. It simply loops back. I see there is a javascript error however not sure how to fix it. See video for a walkthrough: https://cloudup.com/cPTVC19I4K5.

Hi Austin, is there a single event loaded into Event Espresso or are there multiple events?

This is a new website. There is only one event at the moment. I was able to work around the JS issue by commenting out the affected line in the code.

Hi Austin,

It turns out there is an issue with the JS that requires a small fix. There was an oversight with the way the event selector works when there’s only one active event in the system.

We’re working on a fix and when it’s ready we’ll release an update for the Barcode scanner add-on.

Thanks for reporting.

A little update on this: The fix was included in the latest update of the Espresso ticket scanning add-on, version 1.0.1.

Hi,

That version has been released – has it resolved your issue?
