Backup EE3 data and import into a new website with EE4 on

Hi Guys
we want to backup our current EE3 data and import it into a new website that will have EE4, can you please advise with the process?

The first part is you back up your database:

If you’re only going to be migrating events and registration data to the new site (no pages pages, posts, etc) you’ll only need to export/import the tables that have _events_ in their name.

After you’ve imported the EE3 tables, you can activate EE4 and follow this guide:
