Backend Event Title/Body/Details Suddenly Dissapeared

Hello everyone,

I’m hoping you can help with a very peculiar issue. I set up EE4 last year and everything was fine. However, just last month, the title/url/body/details on the backend completely dissapeared when I’m editing my events. The front-end is fine, but half my editing fields on the backend are gone. See this screenshot for reference:

So now my event is published, but I can’t edit the text anymore because I can’t see the editor.

Notes:
– All Screen Options are activated
– I disabled all plugins and issue remains
– I changed the theme and issue remains
– I tried multiple browsers and issue remains
– I updated Worpress and EE and issue remains

Really appreciate any advice. Thanks!

Hi Nick,

The issue you’re seeing is happening because you updated WordPress, but did not update Event Espresso. There were some changes in the later versions of WordPress, and Event Espresso had to change a few things in order to be compatible with those changes.

If you update to the current version of Event Espresso 4 you’ll find that it will resolve this. Here are your options: 1) You can renew your support license to get 1-click updates and support or 2) You can download a current version of Event Espresso 4 from its github repository and remove the older version and replace it with the newer version.
