i have a long list of past events and tickets… how do i hide these events/tickets as the back end has 100 events / tickets from the past that i do not want to see.. but i do want to keep the data.

also when i add a new event… then add a ticket… all the tickets are selected from past events, so be before i can add the correct ticket i am having to unselect over 50 tickets..

help please

Hi there,

When you’re on the Events admin list table page you can click on “Show Active/Inactive” and change that to “Upcoming” then you click on Filter.

With regard to having to unselect over 50 tickets, it sounds like tickets from prior events had the “use this new ticket as a default ticket for any new events” boxes checked. You can remove those by going to Event Espresso > Events > Default Tickets, then trash and delete the unwanted default tickets.

thanks Josh,

i think that i do not understand event espresso enough, as i think this referes to the main page on the event page… not the web page where the products are being sold..

I’m here to help you right now. Can you try posting the screenshot again? You’ll need to host your own screenshot, and here’s how you can do that:

Hi there,

It looks like you’re trying to edit an existing event instead of adding a new event. When you’re viewing the Event Espresso > Events page in the admin, do you see a button that says “Add New”? If so, that’s the button to use to add a new event.

sorry, i don’t need to add, as this list in the image is getting longer, the question is how can I hide these past events with out loosing the data. as to navigate on each page requires an amount of scrolling..

Thanks

Hi there,

Those can’t actually be hidden. You can avoid the above issue by starting a new event.

Thanks, i thought this might be the case, moving the problem would only mean i have the same amount of events.

Thanks anyway.

You don’t actually need to move the problem. Instead, when you set up your events you can limit the number of tickets and datetiems to an amount like 15 or 20. Then your events will not get overloaded with too many options.

(20 courses per month x 6 people per course)

this would mean i would need to add a number of new web pages (12), as each page would show the new events limited to 15-20.

OK, i will work on it, Thanks again Josh.
