available tickets: qty, sold, rsrvd, regs columns

In the available tickets section of the events page there is a column labelled Regs. I do not know how that column gets completed. But it messes with the qty and sold column. So, for example: I only want to have a qty of 30 tickets. I have sold 24. But the Reg column notes 34. So the event reads as sold out.

I have changed the qty to 50 for now, so registration is open again, however I am having to monitor all this much too closely!

There have been a number of abandoned registrations as well as other registrations that were test that I deleted. Perhaps that has caused the reg column to increase, but is there a way to get this all working better so that I don’t have to artificially increase the number of available tickets in order to allow registration to stay open until I reach my targets?

Hi,

You shouldn’t need to change the limit because registrations alone do not count toward the limit. The registration’s status is the factor that makes it count toward the limit. For example, if a registration’s status is Pending Payment, it will not count toward the limit.

May I ask what’s set for the event’s datetime registration limit? Is that also set to 30?

yes the dates and times are all set accurately. I checked them. However, I have just now checked the trash and I deleted permanently all the test registrations that I did (which I had deleted as registrations). Now the sold and the regs column match. So I think by permanently deleting the test registrations from the trash, I also fixed the problem. Do you think?
