Hi,
We have a need to be able to automatically send confirmation emails to participants in our courses that are customized to the event, including the location and key attachments. Wondering if it’s possible to do this? I’ve browsed some of the articles and older threads on this, but haven’t been able to get clarity.

In EE4, if you edit an event and scroll to the bottom you will see the Notifications box.
If you click the custom button for the message type you want to customise it pops up with a way to create a new message type.
Once created these can be used on other events by selecting the drop down menu, and can be edited from the event or via Messages > Custom Message Templates tab.
You can upload files to WordPress Media or a storage service like Amazon S3 and then include links to those files within your message templates as needed.
