I’m trying to create some unique links that either automatically apply a promo code when someone clicks the link or that gives them a discounted price for the event.
In the documentation it says that it can do “Promotional pricing without discount codes” but I don’t see how to do that. Unless it’s talking about the global discount that can be applied to the event itself.
To give an example of what I’d like. I’d like our main registration page: https://www.expo.health/events/2018-health-it-expo to work for everyone, but I’d love to give a partner a link to this same page which will apply a promo code when someone registers. This way I can have my partner give their community a discount and I can track which partner drove the registration. Does that make sense? Is it possible? Or do I just have to give the partner a promo code and have them tell their users to user the promo code?

Hi there,
Currently, the promotion add-on will not use promtions from specific links so you would need to give the partner a promo code and have the users manually enter that code during the checkout.

If you create a Promotion and leave the ‘Code’ field empty it becomes a ‘codeless promotion’ that will automatically apply to any events it applies to, note that’s for all registration so won’t apply for your use case.

Thanks for the feedback Tony. Sorry to hear that’s not an option. I assume it’s on your development roadmap? Any way I could incentivize you to develop that option sooner?
