Lately we have been dealing with a demotion issue on Event Espresso. This occurs when a previously full course has a cancellation. We promote a new student from the waitlist and send them a link to payment. As soon as they open the link they are automatically demoted to waitlist again. The courses we are promoting students in are not full when the promotion takes place, which is recognized by Event Espresso, but still boot registrants back to the waitlist. We have played around with ‘Manually Controlled Spaces” but that has not solved the issue. Any help here is appreciated.

Hi Rio,
I did not increase the ticket value because EE recognized that there was space available in the event. The class is previously full, someone cancels or switches courses, I manually promote from the waitlist and send a payment link, but when the recipient tries to pay it bumps them back to the waitlist.
Here are the versions we are working with: WP 6.4.1, 5.0.11.p
I also have to add a second issue that has come up twice now as well:
If someone switches to a different event & follows the payment link they receive an error code telling them that the event they were formerly in is sold out (not the new ticket selection).
