Hi I know this is in Beta, but I just want to be clear which message I should use. I have events with multiple date times throughout the year, delegates will only ever attend one of these events – so I only want a reminder for the date time they have registered for. Also, I could do with knowing if I create a custom message and set the time before the event to, for example -1 it would send 1 day after the event (I want to send a follow up email as well). Thanks |

Hi Is anyone able to help on this at all? Thanks |

Hello? |
Hello. If you can, please do not bump topics. You could potentially end up waiting for an answer longer if we didn’t catch that the topic simply got bumped and wasn’t actually replied to yet. As far as which template to use, you would use the “Automated Upcoming Datetime Notification” for your use case. The Upcoming automated messages are not intended to send reminders after the event. I haven’t had time to test whether setting a negative value would make it send a message after, but maybe you’ve tried that while beta testing? |

Hi Josh Thanks for that, apologies for the bump I thought the post had been missed. I’m going to try the negative value to see if that works. |

Finally, just wanted to be clear on this – and this is possibly where I’m a little confused. The documentation says: “Messages are sent at the threshold you define (eg 3 days before) prior to a datetime on an event. Messages for this message type are sent to approved registrations and are only triggered for datetimes on upcoming and/or sold out, and published upcoming events. Note that this will send the message for each datetime on the event.” And this implies that the message will be sent to all delegates for each date time. I want to be sure that I’m only sending to the date time that they are booked onto – can you please confirm if this is the case? Thanks |
Yes, the Automated Upcoming Datetime Notification will send the reminder to only those that have a ticket that allows access to that datetime. So for example if someone registered for a ticket that gives access to only a datetime next month, they will not get the reminder email for the datetime for next week. |
