Hi all,
Is there a way to trigger a short text message instead of an email as an event reminder? I always gather their phone number as a required field in their registrations.
More and more of my customers are saying that they don’t really pay attention to email where I send them parking and location details.

Hi there,
There is not a standard feature for sms messages. That would have to be built by an experienced developer.
On a basic level, sending sms/text messages would require:
– Collecting the attendee phone number (as you state you are)
– An integration with a SMS message provider to confirm the sms numbers, and send the messages.
– Creating a message type in Event Espresso to send sms/text messages through the sms provider integration (instead of html emails/messages).
