For this event: KIROS Bellevue Event – 5/12/2023 |
Hi Kiros, we are happy to help guide you. A few questions: – Can you tell me what you mean by the auto reminder did not send this morning? Did the reminder not run the job, did the job run but the messages were not generated to be sent, were the messages generated and sent but not delivered? |
Not sent, not queued, not failed. The reminder is set up for 1 day prior. We don’t have any major changes. Same hosted server, operating system, etc. Only update is probably from EE. Thank you! |
Sorry to push but can you clarify/list what you (or someone) in fact did change? Did you update Event Espresso, and if so, what plugins? |
We had an issue with the EE importer and a new version was installed this week. |
Have you tried disabling the importer plugin when not in use then re-testing? That will help narrow down if that is the change that impacted the auto reminders. |
I can disable the importer plug-in. However, how do I test if it will auto send teh reminder, since there is only 1 day before the event? The “send a test” email works now, before disabling the plug-in. |
You will have to create another event and schedule the reminder to send on schedule. Also note, that WordPress Cron requires a website to have activity in order for it to trigger the scheduled cron events to run. So, confirm your site has had website activity since the cron was supposed to run so that the cron job can be triggered. |
Jumping in here as our Auto Reminders are no longer sending since we upgraded to EE4. Everything is turned on to go 2 days before the event, but nothing is going out. |
Sorry I mean upgraded to EE5 of course! |
