WordPress Version: 4.7.10
PHP Version: 7.0.28
MySQL Version: 5.5.5
Event Espresso Version: 4.9.61.p

Set up payment method with Authorize.Net AIM.
Set Send Test Transactions? toggle to Yes.
Previewed event page and went through registration.
Selected Credit Card payment. On the payment test page, it indicates a number of credit card numbers to be used to simulate an actual transaction.
Scrolling down, I see that the test credit card number for Visa is already prefilled and expiration month/year and CVV are also already given.
Clicked on Proceed to Finalize Registration.

Received error message: “An error occurred during processing. Call Merchant Service Provider. (Reason Code:35)”
Tried other test credit card numbers, but none worked.
Contacted Authorize.Net; payments are going through via other platforms okay.

Looking for any assistance on how to resolve this issue.
Thanks

Josh

That’s likely because live payments are going through via other platforms with the same account. What you can do instead is set “Send Test Transactions? to No, then set Debug Mode On? to Yes, and use Authorize.net Transaction Key and Authorize.net API Login ID from a https://developer.authorize.net account.

Thanks, Josh. We learned from Authorize.Net that this misleading error code was actually expected behavior. Resolved the issue by running a test transaction at $0.50, which went through okay.
