I am using PayPal Standard with Event Espresso 4. I would like to use PayPal’s authorize and capture features when customers purchase tickets. So instead of the money being automatically accepted at checkout and deposited into my account, the amount will be authorized on the customer’s credit card and then I will either “capture” the payment or send it back. This is a feature I can activate through WooCommerce for my online directory but I don’t see that option in Event Espresso. Can you tell me if there is a way to do this? Currently I have it so that I need to approve a registration before customers are given the option to pay, but I find a lot of people don’t follow through with the payment after their registration is approved. Hope I’m making sense!
I’m afraid Event Espresso does not have the option to use the capture the payment feature of PayPal, so there isn’t a way to do this.
