Hello,
Is it possible to attend multiple events at once without using the cart principle? So like maybe grouping a few events together and if you select any of these events you could attend all of them with once click?
Is this possible?

Technically this is possible to do without the cart, but what you would have to do would be create a ticket that gives access to all of the events, and publish that ticket on your site within an event. If these are actually separate events where you’re relying on registration limits then this isn’t a feasible option though.

Would it be possible to somehow group the events together by using categories? The should all the events within the same event and make some custom functionality to attend all of the events WITHIN the same category at once?

You’d need the Multi Event Registration add-on to allow adding each of those to the cart. Without Multi Event Registration, the cart can only have tickets from one event.

Hi Josh thanks for the reply. With the Multi Event Registration add on: Do they need add the events individually to the cart or can you also add a list of events (for example for within the same category) to the cart? If so I’ll buy the add on.

Hi there,
They would need to select tickets from each individual event and submit them each time. There is currently no way to submit tickets from multiple events at once within EE, even with the multi event registration add-on (MER for short) the user selects the tickets from Event 1 and submits them, then from Event 2, submits and so on.
When they have finished selecting ticket, they proceed to the cart and process all of the registrations at once.
