We are going to incorporate the ticekting add on for events but be using this not only as their ticket to get into the event but also as their name badge for the day. For those attendees who cannot print their ticket themselves (no printer etc), we wanted to have a few stations set up at the event where attendees could go to a PC, scan the QR code from their phone and have the ticket the printed out. I don’t see an add-on to provide this “front-end” version to just scan and print so what options would there be to achieve this functionality? We are talking events with 2,000+ attendees so want this to be as streamlined as possible.

Hi,
The closest feature set that’s available in an add-on is the Barcode Scanner add-on’s shortcode that allows for scanning from the front end. So that part is ready to go. The part that someone would need to add is pulling and displaying the ticket in a printable form after scanning the QR code. That’s something that could be added by a developer, and you could get a quote from codeable.io.
