I don’t know how this happened, but an Attendee to a class/event purchased a class using their information on a credit card that didn’t belong to them.
The Attendees info is appearing as the billing info and Authorize.net is showing another individuals info.
How is this possible? Did Event Espresso glitch and is presenting the wrong info on the backend?
I’d show images, but I don’t want the people’s info to be public.

Also, at the time of this issue EE was 4.0.83 I have since updated to most current version.

I hope to hear back asap.
Thanks

Josh

Hi Daniel,

A lot of bugs were fixed since version 4.0.83, so if that’s really the version you had installed then, that may have been a bug that was fixed. If you actually had 4.8.3 or similar, you can check the transaction’s payment logs in Event Espresso > Payment Methods > Logs.

Josh,
Thank you for the response.
I’ll have to watch to see if it happens again.
I did check the logs and it did show that the billing info was submitted to AIM correctly, but EE presented the wrong info in the billing fields.
Strange, but I’ll have to watch and wait.
Thanks again,
Dan
