Hi,
I have a quick question, i think i already know the answer but i wanted to get it from the guys in the know first.
I’m looking at working out which of my WP Users have an event associated with with them for some reporting that i need to do. I was wandering, does EE match up the attendee and their WP User account by linking their email address? I guess this would be the standard way but i wanted to know if there was another way of linking the WP User account to the CPT that’s made when they register?
Currently i have a need to display all of my registered members, and which of them are also attendees of events. i appreciate the email address is the easiest to match up as its entered at the same time of event registration. I just wanted to know for definite if there was no other way of doing this.

It actually adds a key/value pair to the wp_user_meta table, that key is wp_EE_Attendee_ID and the value is the Attendee ID or also reffered to as the Contact post type ID. Then the registration record in wp_esp_registration has an ATT_ID column that will point to that Attendee ID.

So there is a relationship between the wp_user_meta and the attendee table, which i could use by using the wp_esp_registration table to link the two?

Sure, so for example you can run a query on the wp_esp_registration table and get the value for ATT_ID. That ATT_ID will match the attendee’s contact post ID.

Fantastic! i had a look at this in sql workbench and found the relationships so i was able to make the connections in PowerBi as well. Thanks Josh, much appreciated.
