We really want to go with your solution for managing our next Trade Show ticketing and registration. However, we would love to have some kind of option or app that allows exhibiting vendors to scan tickets or name tags to collect attendee contact information. Is this something that is currently available or will be available in the near future?

Hi Cirwin, this is not currently planned at this time. The mobile ticket scanning apps for Event Espresso 3 currently perform a check in or a check out for an event.
