Minor queries but important nevertheless… re EE4 Attendees listed in backend for an event no longer Will these be addressed? Or am I missing something? All were highly useful tools given the nature of my biz. Once again, dont get me wrong, I love the improvements! |

Hi, |
|
Hey, thanks for the quick response. There are only two templates I can see – Registration Declined/ Registration Cancelled. There is no Payment Received template there. |
Hello, Could you go to Wp-admin –> Event Espresso –> Messages –> Settings and ensure that messenger is enabled? http://cl.ly/image/2r3i0e3c1Z0i — |

Hey Lorenzo Yes, it was already enabled. Ok, I noticed something odd overnight. Yesterday, I put Registration Not Approved into Inactive Messages box and then pulled in back into the active box – and this morning it miraculously appeared as a template (as said previously there were only the two above). So on a hunch, I’ve just done the same to the others and the templates are now showing. This kinda weird stuff has indeed been happening in different areas – ie at one point I did not have a side bar on certain pages and then suddenly I did. The other issue (which I’ve not highlighted until now) is that on the events listings widget, a thumbnail image appears in medium size and vice versa. I appreciate that EE4 is not quite stable. Cheers |
Are you currently running a caching service (cloudflare) or plugin (quick cache, w3)? If so clearing the cache should ensure that your site is up-to-date. — |

Hi Lorenzo I doubt all as Ive described above can be attributed to that. For one, the images Something is temperamental. Today, Ive found myself again with no sales and just complaints. The latest is that people can register and when they get to that point it does not allow them to pay. They have tried on various devices and browsers, and I’ve deleted cache endlessly. It’s now off. Also one person got declined registration and then was able to pay. I think ‘upgrading’ to EE4 for me has been an awful mistake thus far. Can someone have a look at my site please? Thanks |
Hi there, We can look at these issues one by one. If you test a registration can you reproduce the issue with registering then it not allowing them to pay? Normally we’ll see things like this happen if there are caching plugins involved. If you’d like someone from support to look at this more in depth, can you export the database and email a copy of it to support@eventespresso.com? That will help us to get a clearer view of what’s going on. |

Hi, much appreciated. Customers have reported… A recent error message was: TCKSLC-DTCKSLC-PROTICSEL-227 Others are stating a security error. I am on cloudflare – and supercache which does not cache the key pages. Thanks |
Does Cloudflare allow the scripts on https pages to load as https? |
|
|
That I don’t know but I’ve just paused it and immediately got a couple of sales. I’m just going to watch this for the next few hours. If this is the simple answer I will be very happy… I’ll let you know. Cheers |

Hi Josh, nothing appears to have changed. Excuse my ignorance but what database should I send to you? |
That might not be necessary. I did a few more test registrations on your site and they worked for me (it took me to the payment page). Since you’re seeing sporadic issues with nonce check failures (which throw the error messages you’re seeing) it looks to me that nonce field is getting cached and some people are getting an expired nonce field, but not everyone. The one plugin that I can see that’s altering the markup on the pages is the WP-Compress-HTML plugin. That could potentially be serving an expired nonce field. Can you try deactivating it? |
|
|
Great stuff! I’ve deleted the Compress plug in. And for record, turned the Super Cache Plug in back on but to skip key pages, and purged cache. Guess it’s just a waiting game now. I will let you know. Thank you! |

Hi Josh I’m afraid we have not found a solution yet. I have just had the following message sent to me by a client: It says the following when I try to register: An error has occurred: This happens every time I try to click proceed to payment. I look forward to your response |
|
One more thing in addition to the above To check, I have the following to be omitted from cache (from earlier advice) /event-registration/ Should there be any others? |
Can you check with them and find out which browser/os they are using? |
|
|
To be fair, it’s inappropriate to hassle customers with such questions. She’s since bought tickets and I do not want to further hassle her – bad for bizz. I’m currently watching my google analytics. People cannot get past the payment page from what I can see. Cloudflare is off. Super cache is off. As it stands – this is about to kill my bizz!! At a loss… |
Hello, I’ve taken a look at your page source and I see that your Event Espresso folder is called event-espresso.tmp. This is also causing some broken links during the registration process. Could you please backup your WordPress. Then remove the current version of Event Espresso and install a fresh copy from your account? — |

Hi Lorenzo, I’ve gone back to EE3 until the EE4 has been further developed. I look forward to the stable product. Thanks for all your help, guys. |
