The list is no longer showing all future events. It seems cut off. I’m doing a search for some specific events but they are not showing. I’m using the latest version, updated today. |
Hi there, Can you clarify a bit? Does the list show any events or no events at all? |
Last night it showed one or two. Today, none. Here’s a screen shot: http://awesomescreenshot.com/08b67ta73f |
Does it show events if nothing is input into the search field? |
Only one single event (which is taking place in September 2017). There should be about fifty. |
OK you could try another browser, or even try deactivating some other plugins to see if that helps. Another plugin may have some CSS that’s cutting off the display of the event list. I checked your site to see if the JSON API is correctly responding with a list of events, and sure enough, it is. |
We have deactivated all plugins except EE4 and Attendee Mover, and we still have the same problem. We’re at a loss and really need this working asap. Lots of change requests in Jan. |
Have you tried a different web browser? |
Yes. |
Can you try deactivating the Social Contact plugin, then turn off WP_DEBUG if it’s set to TRUE, then clear your browser’s cache and try the attendee mover again? |
every plugin off except EE and EE Attendee Mover, switched theme to WP 2015 and still not working :/ http://prntscr.com/dulv00 |

The screenshot shows that Maintenance is on, what’s that? |
It was on only while we were working on the site. It hasn’t been on. My programmer is now working on a local fresh install and default theme, and got it to work. So now we have to figure out what the issue is on our theme suddenly. His last update was this, does it help? It’s surely not css, even JS seems to work properly. It seems that JS that handles this doesn’t receive any data at all to process http://prntscr.com/duwmz5 Now where that data comes from or how its they generated I have no idea. I’ll continue tomorrow.. Maybe the best thing would be to send that screenshots to support, to see what they think… |
The data comes via the REST API. So if the theme is disabling the REST API or interfering with REST API calls, then that’s what needs to be addressed. The programmer should be able to troubleshoot on the local install with a copy of the theme there. I can recommend taking an approach where each function of the theme is disabled until the one that’s breaking the REST API calls is found. Then that particular function could be removed, or wrapped into a conditional so it’s only loaded where it’s needed. |

Inexplicably, this started working again yesterday on our live site. We’ve changed nothing?! |
That might be a hosting issue then. |
