When someone registers using our EE and they click the time drop down on the event they want, it will show how many registrations have taken place, but it doesn’t account for the number of tickets that each registration got. So we have 12 available spots, and someone registers for 3 of them using a group registration and it will now show 11 available spaces, because it is only seeing the 1 registration. How can we fix this? However, if all 12 spots have been taken up by lets say 3, 4 person registrations, then it will close. So its really just not displaying the number correctly in the drop down on the event time, and on the number of tickets at the botom of the page.
There should be a warning message in the event editor under the timeslot quantity field:
Event time slot quantities should only be set for events where group registrations are disabled.
I did some testing, and it looks like it’s working partially if you require some information on each attendee. The count in the dropdown then works, but it will allow you to overfill if there are 4 spots left and you allow group registrations of 5 or more.
I found a code change that will fix the count in the time selector dropdown if you are using no info for additional attendees:
but it does not change the number of ticket selector, so it is still possible to overfill the timeslot.
