Is it possible for an attendee to form a group, preferably name that group, pay for 1 seat and then be able to notify the others in her group to sign up for the event?
For example, Susie is hosting a bachelorette party at our event. She has 10 friends she wants to invite but only pay for herself and let the others pay individually also. She also wants their group to be identified as such for seating and check-in (the ability to name their group). What I want to do when setting up the event is to allow customers to set up a group, and then be able to enter the email addresses of the group members on the sign-up page so they will be notified with a link back to the event page. Is this possible?
Currently Event Espresso considers the Primary Attendee to be the attendee handling all of the payment. It is not possible to register a group and have each individual pay for their ticket in the way described for a group registration.
This means each attendee would need to register onto the event themselves in order to separate the registrations into individual transactions and allow individual payments.
Is there a way for someone to notify others that they are signed up and attending an event? Is there a plug in that could create a Facebook group after the attendee has signed up? Grouping our attendees is critical for seating and communication prior and post event.
We do not have any plugins that will automatically create a Facebook group.
However, we are currently exploring some options for social sharing in Event Espresso 4 after an attendee has registered for an event.
