Sorry for the trouble. This is a known issue that has been fixed in the development version of Event Espresso and will be released shortly. In the meantime, you can apply this specific fix by swapping out the entire contents of the event-espresso/includes/functions/cart.php file with the code that’s been posted in this gist: https://gist.github.com/4052681
