Good morning. Since the Sept 24th 10p maintenance on your product EE has been deleted from our cite. Everything. Gone. ALL, as in over 100 events and 2000 attendees. HELP, is an understatement.
I have signed back in with no favorable results. We have three programs for registration within the next 45 days. URGENT, is an understatement.
Are you referring to the scheduled maintenance mentioned within this post? – eventespresso.com/2014/09/scheduled-website-maintenance-sept-24-10pm-mt/
If so that was maintenance performed on our server that serves the forum (and other services such as plugin updates) but can not effect your event data.
Your event and attendee data (in fact all data used by Event Espresso) is stored within the database on your server, not ours. This means any maintenance done to the EventEspresso.com servers can not effect the your events.
So when you sign into your WP Admin and go to Event Espresso -> Events you see no events at all?
If that is the case I would recommend contacting your hosting company to see if they have altered anything on your server recently.
I logged into your site after getting the support token notification.
It turns out Event Espresso 3 is installed, and there are events going back to April of 2013 that can be accessed in your WordPress admin.
I should let you know that in the event that your events were deleted by accident or server failure, we would not be able to restore them because we do not normally have access to your data. It’s your data, on your server, which means it’s your responsibility to keep your data backed up in safe place.
I can recommend a backup service like VaultPress. If you opt to use a backup service like VaultPress, please be sure to request they backup all of the custom tables because the Event Espresso software stores the data in custom tables.
I can also let you know that Event Espresso does not keep track of or monitor the log ins on your site. Again, if that’s something you would like to do, there are WordPress plugins that you can install to help keep track of log ins. There are a number of plugins built for this purpose, and a few options are listed here:
