Wordpress version: 3.5.1 When I try to log in to the app from my iphone, I get an error saying “Sorry, can’t log in. The operation couldn’t be completed. (NSXMLParserErrorDomain error 111.) I tried the Event Espresso HD after and got a log in error. I used the end domain https://soundstampmusic.com with my user name and password. Is that correct? Also, on the event page (link above), I can’t change the amount of attendees or change the quantity of tickets to be purchased. Any ideas? |
Hi there Gary, Have you allowed Public API Access for the JSON API in your WordPress admin? For your question on multiple quantities, please enable group registrations for that event. This option is available in the Event Editor towards the right side of the screen. A quantity field should then appear on the event page. — |

Hey, Thanks for the quick reply. I don’t know if I have allowed Public API Access for the JSON API . Where do I find that? Group Registrations is enabled and I have it set to allow 5 at a time. On the front end, you’ll see that if shows that up to 4 more people can register. Thanks! |
Hi Gary, Login to your WordPress admin. Then find Event Espresso in the admin menu and click on API settings. Then look for Allow Public API Access on that page. It will look like this: http://cl.ly/image/3l033E3R3S1m There are some javascript errors on that page and at least one of them is related to Event Espresso. I also see that the toggle does not respond. Could you temporarily deactivate all plugins and reactivate Event Espresso and test the toggle again? If it begins to work, please reactivate your plugins one by one to find the source of the conflict. — |

Thanks! I was able to get the app working, but I am still unable to allow the user to buy multiple tickets at once. I ran through the steps of disabling all plugins and it didn’t change anything. Any ideas? |
Hello, Could you install the theme test drive plugin and then enable a default WP theme through Appearance –> Theme Test Drive. This will load the WP default theme only for WordPress admins. Then go to the front end and try to register and click on the toggle button. Let me know if it responds. You can deactivate theme test drive after testing. — |

Seems to work fine with the test theme in place. Is that a javascript error coming from my site then? |

Hi Gary, Your site has two main issue in respect to the JavaScript: 1) It is loading jQuery twice, which will always cause a problem. I would recommend updating to the latest version of the theme, and if that does not resolve the issue to contact the developer to discuss why it’s loading old jQuery. If needed you could manually edit the files to remove the inclusion of these two old version and make the theme load the default jQuery that comes with WordPress (the preferred method of loading jQuery). You may also need to update WordPress to make sure you are on a version of jQuery that Event Espresso supports. |
