Hello there,
I have a number of queries that I could not find amongst the features:
- Does Event Espresso have geolocation built in? If we had events in several cities, can EE be configured to direct the potential attendee to the nearest location to them?
- Is it possible to view the profile of the organiser/delegate for the event I register for?
- Is it possible to view other attendees for an event I register for?
- Is it possible to chat with other attendees, either one-to-one, or as a group?

Hi,
1, 2, and 4 are not available but could be possible with some custom coding.
You can add an attendee list to an event description by using a shortcode.

Hi Lorenzo,
Thanks for getting back to me. I suspected these weren’t yet possible.
Are you able to recommend a developer who could help us? I ask as you would be more likely to know someone familiar with your plugin framework.
If not, now worries, I can trawl O-Desk etc.

Hi,
You mention above that you can can add ‘You can add an attendee list to an event description by using a shortcode’, can you tell me what exactly this shortcode adds? is it just the name of attendee, or is it possible to add a thumbnail, short description etc..? thanks

Hi,
It has a variety of options, but will show the event name and then a list of attendee names. Gravatar images can also be shown.

Hi Dean,
I have read about a few earlier, but relatively recent, problems around the calendar scaling correctly. Should we be concerned about this before we purchase the plugin? Obviously we would rather not have to fix it ourselves in the middle of developing the site.
