After installing the Event Espresso HD app on Android – the username / password will only log in if set to “Administrator”. “Espresso Master Admin” setting returns a status 403.

Once logged in the app recognised the correct number of events but does not pull down all the information – returns to 0 events.

Are there any additional settings required?

Hello,

A role of administrator is needed to use the mobile apps. Are your events currently published on your site?

Thank you. User set to Administrator. 2 of the 8 events are published on the site and are active. The other 6 events are closed.

Hi,

I’d like to check something. Could you share a link to any active event on your site?

Hi hsaevents,

I’ll be sure to remind Lorenzo about checking what he wanted to check. In the meantime, I checked the JSON response for the events on your sites and all looks good.

Can you go to the Espresso JSON API settings and make sure there are numbers entered for the Default Query limits. It will look like this:

Yes, numbers are entered for the default query limits. Settings the same as above otherwise.

Just missing the “show api users data they can’t edit” but assume that is a version difference?

Hi, I wanted to see if there were any errors on the event page and if you were running the latest version of EE3.

The screenshot is from version 2.1.x of the Espresso JSON API plugin.

Is it still not working?

No. It is not. Enters successfully, says 8 events of 8 loaded then says “0 events” pull to refresh”.

Note: At this point only 1 event is active.

Hi hsaevents,

Can you check the wp-config.php file and make sure that WP_DEBUG is set to false? It will look like this near the bottom of that file:

define('WP_DEBUG', false);

It may also help to ensure that error display is set to 0, which can be done by adding the following to the following line on your wp-config.php file:

@ini_set('display_errors',0);

The first line existed as indicated. Adding the second line has made no difference.

Anything else to try? Why will this not work?

Hi,

I have an iPad that I can check on.

Could you create a temporary login and share through the link below:
