I make use of the [ANSWER_*] short code in the Email templates. But it appears that this short code just works with custom questions not with system questions. Is there a way to get the system questions and there answers to use in the emails. (pending payment, …) I would need the email, address, …
You are correct that [ANSWER_*] will only pull in custom questions/answers currently. Unfortunately with the current release there is no way to pull the System questions within the messages.
We have an open ticket to address this which the developers are currently working on.
Thanks for your response. Is there any work around because my client uses the message system for enrolling customers to courses. therefore it would be necessary to have the participants address and email in the messages.
With the new update to EE4 we just released (4.2.7.p) some extra shortcodes are now included for system questions.
For use in attendee_list field (called with the [ATTENDEE_LIST] shortcode) :
[PHONE_NUMBER]
[ADDRESS]
[CITY]
[ZIP-PC]
[COUNTRY]
For use in main content for certain contexts (i.e. primary attendee or attendee)
[RECIPIENT_PHONE_NUMBER]
[RECIPIENT_ADDRESS]
[RECIPIENT_CITY]
[RECIPIENT_ZIP_PC]
[RECIPIENT_COUNTRY]
These are all fairly self explanatory although it depends on how you setup your messages as to which one you use.
If you encounter any issues or need any further help just let us know.
