I got a complaint from another customer saying they could not register for one of my courses.

They tried google chrome and explorer. Were told had to hit the back button. Same error as I’ve have gotten in the past.

An error has occurred:
We’re sorry but your request failed to pass a security check.
Please click the back button on your browser and try again.

I have bot trap set to no. I was able to register for the same event from my computer.

Anything I can do to stop this from happening? Tired of having to manually process course registrations.

Hi Ted,

You’ll need to make sure that the pages that have the Register Now button are not getting served from the cache. Otherwise, your customers will from time to time see that error, which is the result of being served an expired security token.

How can I find that out?

First you check with your host and make sure there isn’t any server-level caching in place. If there is, any pages that have the means to start a registration (i.e. a Register Now button) need to be excluded from the cache. Second, any caching plugins need to also be set to exclude those pages from being served from a cache.
