We have 30 sports events. The first year I set them up as follows:

Swimming https://delawareseniorolympics.org/events/swimming
There are no partners like other sports. Each event has a 4 digit code.

Can I use “swimming” again or will that overwrite the data?
Being 2018, this is now a NEW event?

I want to do this correct the first time and not have to dig myself out of a mess.

Golf would be another. Is it a new event with a new slug?

*I will need to pull historical data from the database later, so I want to keep all the player data from year to year.

I hope I am making sense!

I haven’t heard from you since yesterday morning. I have emailed back a few times already. Would you rather I switch to the topic area?
