An Individual Event With Many Sessions

Hello,

May I know how do configure an individual event (seminar) with many sessions (batches)?

This is not a recurring event.

like below.

I am conducting this 3-hour seminar every month at various locations

How to configure it?

Hi David,

There are a couple ways to handle this. Could you tell me more about the seminars and locations? Will it be a single seminar per location each month?

Every month I need to conduct this 3 hour seminar in English and Chinese in 2 meeting rooms at my HQ and another branch.

Each rooms are limited to different max seats.

JB Room – 8 seats
KL Room – 24 seats

There are different time as below.

9am-12pm
10am-1pm
2pm-5pm
3pm-6pm
7pm-10pm

Below is March 2014 brochure for offline registration.

Previouly, I used http://www.amember.com membership to configure online registration as shown below.

Due to the limitation, I purchased EE and thinking of using of using it effective April 2014.

I tried to configure but still cannot get the whole idea as below.

I am thinking to offer different ticket below.

Free Admission
Early Bird Discount
Group Discount
Early Bird and Group Discount

Please advice.

Hi David,

Just to clarify, do you have two different rooms in two different locations?

– HQ, JB
– HQ, KL
– Branch, JB
– Branch, KL

It looks like your times overlap…how do you attend both at the same time or are they occurring on different days?

With EE4 you can configure an event with multiple datetimes, but the event generally has one location. So if you have multiple locations, maybe create a different event or just add the location details into the ticket description? In EE 4.2 the datetimes have titles and descriptions which would be helpful too.

For each of your datetimes, you can choose which of the ticket options you want to offer.

In my Kuala Lumpur (KL) Headquater (HQ), I have 1 room.

In my Johor Bahru (JB) branch, I have 2 rooms.

Not all seminars are conducted by me, I have different trainers to do it.

Due to urgency, I have just used my old ways to launch April 2014 Schedule.

Let me play around with the system and see what can I do for may 2014, etc.
