on event registration page, even quantity/price is selected this error shows “An error has occurred: You need to select a ticket quantity before you can proceed”. This seem to be an issue on all OPEN events for registration. This has just happened recently,in fact most of the events has already registered people. Here is a sample: https://www.miltonstags.com/events/2022-winter-staglets-2/#tkt-slctr-tbl-15808
how can it be fixed, please help

Hi there,

Apologies for the trouble. We just released another update a couple of hours ago to resolve this issue. Would you please update and report back?

If you can’t see the update on your site go to Event Espresso -> General Settings.

Make no changes and hit save, that will force an update check.

Hi there,

Tony, It is now updated to 4.10.17p. Now when I tried to register – this error message shows
An error has occurred:
You have attempted to purchase 2 tickets.
The registration limit for this event is 1 ticket per registration, therefore the total number of tickets you may purchase at a time can not exceed 1.

On the same event as above? I’ve tried in a couple of browsers and don’t get any errors.

Try visiting this page:

https://www.miltonstags.com/registration-cancelled/

It will clear out your current session in case something was messed up with the session while the site was throwing errors and hasn’t cleared.

Then retest, do you get the same error?

The other issue that I noticed is it has significantly slowed down, basically moving from one page to another. Do you have any tip to make it faster again?

May I ask slowed down since when? The recent updates shouldn’t change anything in terms of speed.

What type of hosting are you using?

Ok, I’ve reproduced this, it happens when you select a ticket other than the first ticket.

I’ve created a ticket to investigate this further.

the “#tkt-slctr-tbl-15808” at the end of URL is new? It was not there before when I built the event. I wonder if that has anything to do with the error.

It’s not connected to the error, but where are you getting the link from?

It has slowed down since the upgrade to .17p. Im with Startlogic

I can’t find anything in the new updates that would slow down the site, the latest updates basically add additional sanitizing functions throughout the plugin.

I can send you a copy of 4.10.13.p for you to replace the current version with if you’d like? That will get you back to how the site was prior to those updates whilst we investigate the above issue.
